Situated on the banks of River Tungabhadra, Hampi is a remarkable tourist destination where travelers from all around the globe come to sink and absorb the laid back culture and listen to all the mysteries stories from history. Solitude lovers and photography enthusiasts would love to stroll around more than 20 ancient heritages and hill tops where sunset never looks the same.

Beautifully preserved and maintained by Archeological Excavation of India, a Tour to Hampi amidst the muddy roads and paddy rice fields will sooth your senses and take you back in time.

Itinerary

Day 0Overnight Journey to Hospet

Catch a Bus or Train to Hospet from Mumbai. Overnight Journey

Day 1Coracle Ride, Paddy Fields | Overnight at Guest House

Reach Hospet in the morning and meet the Wandering Souls team.

We will then catch a transport to Hampi, catch a ferry to cross Tungabhadra river, where our guest house is located. Freshen up, have a late breakfast and get ready to explore the Hippie side.

We hire Scooters/Moped and roam around hippie town. We will visit the Chintamani Temple just besides the Tungabhadra and then go for a small hike to Monkey hill/ temple and enjoy the views.

Then experience the much awaited coracle ride on Sanapur lake and head our to the water fall point to enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

Move towards the guest house. Have nice dinner. Fun & Games

Day 2City of Ruins | Overnight return Journey

Rise early morning and go for Cliff jumping if not done previous day.

We then check out of our hotel and move towards the Temple side and go for the guided tour of this historical city. Get on the rick to explore the famous temples of Hampi – Vithala temple, the Famous Chariot, Kings Balance and the area around

We will have the famous local thali for lunch at a restaurant.

Continue exploring Hampi ruins – Lotus Mahal, elephant stable, Queen’s bath, Pushkarni etc.

In the evening once our guided tour ends we catch the auto for Hospet. If time permits we will visit the Tungabhadra Dam as well

ay your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning of your adventures with wandering souls

If participant seeks cancellation due to natural calamities or any due to military or governmental decisions no refund shall be paid.

If in case Wandering Souls cancels the tour due to unfavourable conditions of travel then whatever best possible refund we get from vendors if we ever get can be processed, in case we do not get any refunds from Hotel/Transportation we won’t be in a position to process any refunds.

In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.

What is the stay like?

We will be staying in Guest House on double sharing basis.
A Male will be sharing room with another Male. Female will share with female.
Couples will get a separate room.

In a scenario where we have odd number of male/female trippers, only one room will be converted to triple sharing.

How will you contact me once I register?

We will be mailing you the details once you register. We will also create a WhatsApp group a week before the trip

What is the age group for this trip?

Most participants on our trips are in the age group 18-35

Can I come alone?

Yes, many who come on our trips are solo travellers.

Is it safe for a female solo traveller?

It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our event have 60% female participation.

Would I get cellular connectivity?

You will get cellular connectivity in Hampi

What type of food will I get?

We will be having our Breakfast at our Hotel. Day 2 Lunch at a famous restaurant.

What if I have a medical emergency?

We will carry first aid kit with us. The coordinators will be first aid certified. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.

What kind of clothing we need to wear?
